Lashaya Camilleri, of Grade 6, has been practising weightlifting for the last 6 months. She recently participated in her first competition which was held at the Cottonera Sports Complex, Birgu, where she placed second. She lifted between 13 and 20 kilos. Well done to Lashaya and we wish her more success in this sport.
