On Monday 24th October, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th November 2022, Caritas Foundation conducted a focus programme with the Grade 6, Senior 1 and Senior 2 classes. The sessions focused on building self-confidence, forming healthy relationships, understanding substance abuse and the harm it causes. The sessions were led by Ms Anna Micallef, Caritas Prevention Officer, with the help of Ms Rebecca Muscat. The students participated actively in the sessions. After the sessions, Ella Pace of Grade 6, was interviewed by Caritas where she gave feedback on the sessions. This interview was shown during the launch of the new Caritas premises held earlier on this week. The focus programme will be followed up by a parents’ forum which will be held on Tuesday 8th November 2022. The school encourages all parents to attend these sessions, where salient points emerging from the focus programme will be shared with the parents.
