On Tuesday 6th December 2022, Ms Laura Galea, a Transport Malta representative, gave an interesting presentation to the Grade 2 and Grade 3 girls on sustainable and alternative transport. She discussed the effect of transport on the environment and invited the girls to suggest alternative means of transport which is more sustainable. The session took the form of a discussion where the girls were invited to think about ways of travelling using transport which causes less harm to the environment. This activity complements the targets set out by the Eko Skola Committee where sustainable transport is one of the goals on which the committee is working this scholastic year.
