On the 21st November 2019, the Grade 5 girls were eager to each plant their own ‘gulbiena’ for the upcoming Christmas period. The girls brought plant pots and they were provided with the seeds. At the beginning of the week, the students soaked the seeds for a couple of days. Later in the week the students sowed the seeds in cotton wool. The students were given the task of watering their own plant. The plants will later be used todecorate the classroom in a traditional way.
