Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School Paola is currently participating in the Tales from the Forest Project, following a meeting with the providers of ootiboo. Ootiboo is a foundation lead by a small and passionate team with business development in Berlin, Germany, and creative projects and education outreach based in Folkestone, Kent, UK.
The team has partnered with various entities including companies, schools and research institutes.
Ootiboo’s goal is to not only encourage the creative curiosity in children from the early years, but also to provide the opportunity for people of all ages to embrace creativity through projects.
For the creatives of ootiboo, the use of imagination and idea generation, as well experimentation, are regarded as an essential part of growing and developing, and have a direct impact on mental health and wellbeing.
Our Grade 1 to Grade 5 classes are participating in this project. Through this initiative, our girls are learning about the importance of safeguarding trees and the appreciation of preservation of woodlands by contributing to the installation Tree of Trees in Ashwood Forest UK.
