On Monday 19th September 2022, the parents of Pre-grade students starting their education at our school in a couple of weeks’ time, had an introductory meeting with the Head of School, Dr Kenneth Vella, and the Assistant Heads, Ms Ruth Mansueto and Ms Alexia Brincau. After the first introductions were made and the parents were welcomed to school, Ms Karen Bishop, a family therapist within the Institute of Family Therapy Malta, and also a parent of a student attending our school, delivered a very interesting talk about parenting skills. She also shared practical ideas of how to build positive relations with the children. The parents’ meeting ended with a presentation by Dr. Vella who discussed several issues regarding the running of the school as well as the projects that will be undertaken during this scholastic year.
Meetings with parents of students in other grades will be held in the coming days.
