On the 6th March 2023, a Maltese author, Ms Moira Scicluna Zahra, visited our school to talk to the Grade 3 and Grade 4 girls about her newly-launched book ‘Id-Dar tal-Ħolm’. Ms Scicluna Zahra explained briefly the process of writing and how she creates the detailed illustrations for her books. Ms Scicluna Zahra also read part of her book to the girls. Afterwards, the girls had the opportunity to create their own dream house by being creative and using their imagination. Ms Scicluna Zahra also kindly autographed the books for the girls. This activity was coordinated by Ms Rachel Sladden, the Maltese teacher.
