On Thursday 27th October 2022, the Grade 6 and Senior 1 girls from the Eko Skola Committee attended the Litterless Campaign launch which was held at Golden Bay. This activity was organised by Nature Trust – FEE Malta, and was attended by Hon. Minister Miriam Dalli. During the activity, Julia Rose Attard, Kate Falzon, Andrea Gauci, Sarah Sacco and Nicole Spiteri witnessed the release of a rescued loggerhead turtle named Net. The girls also participated in a photo scavenger hunt. At the end of the activity, the girls had to create a slogan in order to raise awareness about litter. Ms Lycia Bezzina, one of the Eko Skola link teachers, accompanied the girls during this event.
