The Grade 3 girls have been learning a lot about plants. They learnt that new plants can grow either by planting seeds or by planting part of the plant, like the potato. The class discussed what a plant needs in order to live. The girls had a hands-on activity where they worked in groups to plant their own plants. Some girls planted seeds, and others planted the potato. The girls will be taking care of their plants by watering them and checking if they eventually grow. The activity was coordinated by Ms Veronique Sultana, the class teacher, with the help of Ms Ritianne Brincat and Ms Raquel Zarb.
