Our Grade 3 students enjoyed a hands-on Science lesson as they worked in groups to investigate how electrical circuits work.
Through teamwork and problem solving and using batteries, wires, and bulbs, the girls successfully created simple circuits and discovered that a bulb will only light when the circuit forms a complete loop. They then challenged themselves to light two bulbs, experimented with two batteries, and explored how adding a switch can control the flow of electricity by turning the bulbs on and off.
It was wonderful to see their excitement as they tested different arrangements and celebrated each successful result!
