The Grade 2 girls visited Paul ta’ Kalċ bakery in Ħal-Qormi on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 and learned how bread is made. In addition, they were able to make the bread and shape their own ftira and chocolate chip buns. The girls found the outing very interesting and even recognised some of the tools mentioned in their Maltese reader, ‘Għand tal-forn’. The outing was coordinated by Ms Stephanie Saliba and Ms Elaine Azzopardi. Thanks to Paul ta’ Kalċ bakery for hosting the girls and organising an interesting session.
