As an introduction to the topic Place Value, the Grade 1 girls recently had a hands-on activity where they had to use the blocks to represent the given numbers. This activity was followed up by an onscreen presentation about tens and ones. The girls really enjoyed this activity, which was coordinated by Ms Charlotte Zammit, with the help of Ms Donna Muscat.
