The German Speaking Champions event was held on Tuesday 12th March, where three Senior 2 students of German from our school, Mira Gerada, Courtney Said and Nicole Spiteri, took part in a speaking competition among 21 different schools in Malta and Gozo. Students were put into different groups where they participated in speaking activities, and the best three students were chosen and given a prize and a certificate, which were presented by the Ambassador of Germany, Ms Tanya Beyer and that of Austria, Ms Erika Bernhard. All participating students were awarded a Certificate of Participation, and each school was given a German language game. Well done to Mira, Courtney and Nicole who did really well in this event. The girls were prepared for this activity by Ms Sonja Maistre, the German teacher.
