The Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programme at the Ministry for Education and Employment together with the HSBC Malta Foundation launched a Poster Competition on Financial Capability aimed at students in Years 5, 6, 7 and 8in Autumn of 2019. The theme of the competition was entitled ‘Ġemma and the importance for you to save’. Michela Bianco and Gabrielle Sevasta who were in Grade 5 and 6 respectively during the last scholastic year, placed second in their respective categories with the posters they had prepared for the competition. An inauguration and awards ceremony led by the Ministers for the Family, Children’s Rights and Social Solidarity, the Hon. Michael Falzon together with representatives from the HSBC Malta Foundation, was held on the 22nd September 2020 at Esplora, Kalkara. Well done to Michela and Gabrielle!
