On Wednesday 13th March 2024, Julia Rose Attard, Norah Cassar, Kate Falzon and Karla Meilak, the Senior 1 girls that form part of the EkoSkola committee, attended the annual WateServ’s European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) Awards which took place at Xara Lodge in Rabat. The students were accompanied by Ms Cristina Spiteri, one of the EkoSkola link teachers.
Our school participated in the EWWR in November 2023 where different classes had special lessons during the Waste Reduction Week to become more aware about the importance of reducing waste amounts and focusing mainly on the reduction of packaging waste.
