As part of Earth Day celebrations held on Wednesday 11th May 2022, the Eko Skola teachers organised a bottle caps competition among the classes. The girls participated enthusiastically in the competition and collected a great amount of bottle caps. In all, more than 800 kilogrammes of bottle caps were collected. On Thursday 12th May 2022, during the morning assembly, Dr. Kenneth Vella, the Head of School, presented the winning classes with prizes. The class which collected most bottle caps was Grade 1, followed by Pre-Grade class. All the bottle caps collected for this competition were collected by GreenPak for the Nirriċikla Għall-Istrina initiative. Well done to all students and parents for their active participation in this activity. Thanks to the staff members who weighed all the bottle caps during the day. We encourage the school community to keep collecting bottle caps and used batteries and dispose of them in the allocated bins at school.
