Conclusion of the Story Changers Erasmus+ Project  – June 2023

Our school has been participating in the Story Changers Erasmus+ project during these last 2 years. On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th June 2023, the partners met in Nicosia, Cyprus, for the last transnational meeting to celebrate all the work carried out during the project. Our school was represented by Ms Mary Grace Grech and Ms Mary-Ann Laspina. Their first visit was to Apostolos Varnavas Primary School where they were warmly welcomed by all the staff and the pupils. They had the opportunity to go round all the classes and talk to the students. The highlight of the day was talking to the Grade 3s whose favourite Story Changers story was Rospo, the story that was created by our school in both Maltese and English, whose concept was created by Ms Ruth Mansueto, Assistant Head. The students also spoke enthusiastically about the other books which the girls in our school had also read and done activities on, such as Two Hens.  This was the last session of this Erasmus project, however, all the stories created by the partner countries will continue to come alive next scholastic year during the reading lessons and also during VR sessions.

The Story Changers project was coordinated locally by Ms Ruth Mansueto, Assistant Head, and was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and supported by the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA).
