Commemorating the feast of St Ġorġ Preca – May 2025

On 9th May, Malta celebrates the feast of the first Maltese saint, St. Ġorġ Preca. To commemorate this day, during the morning assembly, Dr Kenneth Vella, the Head of School, spoke about St Ġorġ’s life and explained the significance of this feast for the Maltese Catholic church. Dr Vella ended this special assembly with a famous prayer which St Ġorġ Preca used to recite, “Grazzi Sinjur Alla u aħfirli Sinjur Alla” in front of the statue of St Ġorġ Preca which was donated by a former student, Shanaia Micallef.
