Commemorating International Holocaust Day and School Day of Non-Violence and Peace

On Tuesday 27th January 2026, the world commemorated a painful period in the history of the world where millions of innocent people died during World War 2. A few days later, on Friday 30th January, all schools around the world celebrated the International School Day of Non-Violence and Peace. To commemorate these days, during the past week, the School Council Committee members spoke to the girls about these significant days and invited them to spread love and peace. The Grade 6 girls sang “Do You Hear the People Sing?” to promote this positive message. They were prepared by Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher. Dr Kenneth Vella, Head of School, reiterated the message passed on during this activity by emphasising the importance of loving and respecting one another.
