On Tuesday 7th May 2024, the Senior 1 girls enjoyed themselves during the day dedicated to Italian breakfast. The girls brought some food items with them from home, prepared by themselves or with a family member of theirs. There was a vast variety of bontà italiane, such as cornetti al cioccolato, al pistachio & alla vaniglia, yogurt, ciambelle con la crema, gelato alla Nutella, cannoli alla ricotta, biscotti Mulino Bianco e al cioccolato, Kinder Brioss & Kinder Cards, succhi d’ananas, d’arancia e alla mela, focaccia, pizza Margherita e al salame and pasta al pomodoro.
The girls presented in Italian what they had cooked in advance or what they had bought. They tasted the Italian delicacies of one other and, finally, they shared their tasty food with other educators who came along to taste what these girls were willing to offer them. The activity was led by Ms Elisa Cassar, the Italian teacher, with the support of Ms Bernardette Mercieca.
