Book Week Celebrations – April 2026

📖 This week was all about stories and books at our school as we celebrated Book Week. Activities started with a book fair which was well attended by the girls. During the week, all the classes presented the Big Book on which they had been working for the past weeks. These books have been put on display in the hall for the other classes to browse and enjoy following the great effort and work put into them by the educators and students. On Friday, the last day of this celebration, the girls dressed up in their favourite book character, and during the day, the educators read out parts of their favourite books or stories to the students during the lessons, while the girls had the opportunity to talk about their favourite story and participate in activities related to books. The Grade 2, 3 and 4 classes attended an interactive performance called The Great Big Book Adventure which was coordinated by Bouncy Zebra Team as part of the Culture Pass scheme. At the end of the session, the girls co-produced a story in a Big Book. To conclude this week of activities filled with creativity and imagination, the Grade 4 girls sang ‘I’m Gonna Read a Book Today’ during the assembly, under the guidance of Ms Mary Grace Grech, Music teacher.
Thanks and well done to all the educators for collaborating during Book Week which was coordinated by Ms Ruth Mansueto, Deputy Head, with the help of Ms Mary Grace Grech, Library teacher.
