The School Council committee has been working enthusiastically during this scholastic year to share their own ideas as well as those of their classmates to enhance the school environment, and suggest ways to ensure a positive experience for the community. Amongst several ideas, this year’s committee members decided to carry out community work by organising a beach clean-up. On Thursday 14th May 2026, they headed to St Thomas Bay and eagerly rolled up their sleeves to clean the beach and surrounding areas. The girls were impressed by the amount of rubbish they collected- from plastic, to jablo, endless cigarette butts, fabrics, ropes, kitchen utensils…the list was endless! The girls were commended by both locals and tourists who were at the beach during the clean-up for their altruism and their effort to upkeep public spaces. Well done to all the members for their part in helping keep local beaches clean!
The committee members thank Marsaskala local council for their collaboration during this activity.
