On Sunday the 20th of May, as part of the annual Puttinu Cares Football Marathon which was held at Marsa Sports grounds, one of the youngest Eko Skola committee-member, Cassidy Spiteri, was invited over to be interviewed on a TV slot. Our school was among the first to suggest alternatives to the release of balloons, which would have otherwise ended up in the sea damaging the ecosystems as they pose a serious threat on turtles, and as litter once they end up on the ground! Cassidy explained this in the interview that was made as an ambassador that represented smartly our school. A big well done to Cassidy!
