Visit to School by Estonian Educators  – October 2023

On Tuesday 24^th October 2023, a group of Estonian educators visited our school. Ms Krista Uibu, Aigi Kikkas, Kaire Jõgi, Katrin Saluvee and Lehte Tuuling, from the University of Tartu, had an interesting session at our school where they followed a presentation about the Maltese education system which was delivered by Ms Ruth Mansueto, Assistant Head. They also had a presentation about our school involvement in the EkoSkola and Dinja Waħda programmes. The presentations were led by Ms Cristina Spiteri, one of the EkoSkola link teachers, and Ms Lycia Bezzina, the school’s Dinja Waħda coordinator. The Estonian delegation also had the opportunity to visit St Michael independent school. The group’s visit to Malta was facilitated by Dr Kenneth Vella, Head of School, and Ambassador of Malta to Estonia and Finland.
