Outing to Maypole Factory for Senior Classes – October 2024

On October 30th 2024, the Senior 1 and Senior 2 students visited the Maypole Factory as part of an outing related to Home Economics—focused on preparing a healthy school lunch—and History, learning about the prehistoric bread-making process. The students had the opportunity to tour the Maypole Factory, observe the bread production process, and visit the sweets section, where they also had the chance to taste some sweets. Afterwards, they prepared a Maltese ftira with toppings of their choice. The outing was coordinated by Ms Rachel Sladden, the H.E. teacher, and Ms Lycia Bezzina, the History teacher.
