On Wednesday 11th March 2026, the Grade 2 students enjoyed a very interesting outing at the Malta National Aquarium

During the visit, they had the opportunity to see many different animals and sea creatures that they had previously learned about during their Science lessons. It was exciting for them to recognise and observe these fascinating creatures up close.
The students also had the chance to enter a very realistic submarine experience, where they discovered different sea creatures found at various levels of the ocean.
To end the visit, they participated in an engaging talk and a fun game that helped them explore how fish use their senses. Through this activity, students used their own body senses to better understand how sea animals experience their underwater world.
They also had some free time to play in the playground, which they really enjoyed!
It was a wonderful learning experience for everyone, and the students had so much fun while learning outside the classroom!
Thanks to Ms Stephanie Saliba who coordinated the outing, together with Ms Roberta Gatt and Ms Jocelyn Sammut Mizzi.
