Missionary Work in Cuba – January 2025

On Thursday 23rd January 2025, Fr Leonard Mintoff, the school chaplain, spoke to the girls about his upcoming missionary work in Cuba. In March, Fr Leonard will be helping out in a parish in Cuba whose parish priest is Rev. Fr. Stephen Magro. Fr Stephen takes care of the sanctuary dedicated to Virgen de la Caridad. As part of his pastoral work, he works with young children. Fr Leonard, together with another Maltese priest, will be carrying out missionary work with children in this parish. Fr Leonard appealed for donation of stationery items which will be given to these children. Items needed are copybooks, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, pencil colours and crayons. We encourage our students to be generous in their donations. Such items which will make a big difference in the lives of these children. We will keep Fr Leonard and his colleagues in our prayers.
