First Confession for Grade 2 Students – April 2021

Wednesday 27th April 2021 was a special day for the Grade 2 students who had the first confession in preparation for the First Holy Communion. The girls have been preparing for this day for a number of weeks. Fr Leonard Mintoff, the school chaplain, explained the significance of this sacrament before the girls went to the school chapel to confess for the first time. While the individual students were in the chapel, Ms Stephanie Saliba, the Grade 2 class teacher held various activities to help the girls understand the meaning of this sacrament. At the end of the activity, the girls were given a bookmark as a token of this special day. Thanks to Ms Stephanie who has been preparing the girls for this occasion and Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Library and Music teacher, who also held different activities in preparation of this day.
