EkoSkola Fundraising Activity – April 2024

The EkoSkola Committee has been busily working on a project in line with this year’s theme of Reducing Packing Waste. During the second term, all the committee members prepared a large amount of bracelets and bookmarks in their free time which were sold during a fundraising activity held on Monday 15th April 2024. They also took care of the promotion of the event. The activity was a huge success with all the products sold out during the break activity. In the last EkoSkola committee meeting, the committee members noted the sales and profit made from the activity. The money raised during the event will now be used to buy tote bags which will be distributed to local businesses in order to promote the use of reusable bags. This project is part of the school’s involvement in the Litterless Campaign. Well done to the EkoSkola members, together with the link teachers, for their commitment towards the environment.
