Day Out in Gozo – May 2025

On Friday 23rd May 2025, the Grade 5 girls enjoyed a wonderful day out in Gozo. They visited Ta’ Mikiel Olive Grove in Għarb. The girls learned about the process of growing olive trees and what is needed to pick olives in October. This was followed by lunch and some downtime at Marsalforn bay. They visited the Xwejni Salt Pans close by which they had learned about during their Science lessons when they learnt about evaporation. Finally, their day ended at the Ċittadella, Gozo’s old capital city, which they had learned all about in their Social Studies lessons. This outing was coordinated by Ms Nicole Inguanez, with the help of Ms Christine Mallia.
