Autumn Activity – November 2024

The Grade 1 girls had the last activity related to Autumn. Last Friday, they headed to the vegetable hawker near the school to get some fresh apples, and later turned them into delicious homemade apple pies. The seller explained how to choose the right apple for an apple pie and how to check if the fruit is fresh. She also explained about other Autumn fruits and vegetables. As a follow up, on Tuesday 19th November 2024, the girls baked some delicious apple pies. The kind lady at the vegetable van was offered an apple pie as a thanks for her help. The Grade 1 girls thank Ms Julie Tabone Valetta for preparing the apple pie filling and Ms Mary-Ann Laspina for giving a helping hand during the cooking session. This activity was coordinated by Ms Charlotte Zammit with the help of Ms Shana Calleja, Ms Roberta Gatt and Ms Hana Mooiny.
