Ash Wednesday Celebration – February 2026

This morning, all the students and staff gathered in the school yard to mark the start of the Lenten season. Mass was celebrated by Fr Leonard Mintoff, the school chaplain, who was helped by Mariana Busuttil Risiott, of Grade 5. During mass, Fr Leonard invited us to reflect on our actions and embrace the three pillars of Lent – Prayer, Almsgiving and Fasting. Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher, led the school choir, which was composed of Senior 2 class. Kelly Scerri and Kayleigh Zahra Cutajar, of Senior 2, played the flute and violin respectively.
