On Thursday 28th May 2026, Lea Cassar and Martina Catanzaro, of Senior 2, attended the annual YRE Award Ceremony. Our school submitted 15 articles which were carried out as part of the English article writing syllabus. The activity was coordinated by Ms Julie Tabone Valetta, English teacher. Martina’s work was Commended and Lea’s article won best entry in the 11-14 category and made it to the international shortlisting too. All the participating students were given an accredited certificate which forms part of their secondary school qualification portfolio. Well done to all participating students and thanks to Ms Cristina Spiteri, YRE school coordinator.
