Our school recently participated in a project called ‘Youthful Rhythms, Stronger Minds’ which was coordinated by Soċjeta Filarmonika GM Fra. Antoine De Paule – Banda Kristu Re AD 1898 band Club. Our school is proud to share that it submitted the biggest number of entries for this initiative. The work was carried out during the Music lessons, under the guidance of Ms Mary Grace Grech, Music teacher. On Wednesday 27th May 2026, representatives of the society presented a certificate of participation to Dr Kenneth Vella, Head of School, and announced the finalists and winners of this initiative. Mattea Williams, of Grade 2, and Ailey Lia, of Grade 5, were presented with a token for being shortlisted as finalists, while Nayelle Vassallo Vella was presented with a prize for being one of the three winners of the competition.
The school thanks Soċjeta Filarmonika GM Fra. Antoine De Paule – Banda Kristu Re AD 1898 band Club for their invite to participate in this interesting initiative. It was a true example of collaboration with entities within our community. Well done to all the students who participated enthusiastically, and thanks to Ms Mary Grace for coordinating their work.
