During their Science lessons with Ms Madeleine Agius Carbonaro, with the assistance of Ms Antonella Cassar, our Senior 1 students have been busy doing hands-on investigations in the lab, from measuring and safety, candle burning and finding the volume of a marble, to exploring the properties and states of matter, thermal expansion, and acids and alkalis. These photos show just a few moments from the year, including their recent work with the light microscope, where they prepared their own slides to observe cells.
