Thanks to MDIA, our fifth-grade students took part in the Girls in ICT event on April 29th 2026. This annual successful event is held with the aim of attracting more girls to the ICT sector. Using the Scratch Junior software, our girls were able to take part in a Coder Dojo session. In two different sessions, they also had the chance to sketch, create a cartoon character, and design a poster. Additionally, there were a number of stands where students could speak with representatives of other businesses. Hon. Silvio Schembri, the Minister of Economy, was also present. The outing was co-ordinated by Ms Cristina Spiteri, ICT teacher.
