Day Out at The Beach – May 2025

On Tuesday, 20th May 2025, our Pre-Grade girls had a fantastic day out at the beach, filled with exploration, play, and plenty of learning through hands-on experiences.
The girls spent time digging in the sand, hiding small objects and then searching for them —developing their observation and problem-solving skills. They experimented with mixing sand and water, feeling the difference between wet and dry sand, and watching closely as the water soaked into the sand. They also built sandcastles, scribbled patterns and shapes in the sand, and were fascinated to see their marks disappear as the waves washed over them.
Of course, no beach day is complete without some splashing in the water! To round off this fun-filled outing, the girls enjoyed a well-deserved, cooling treat — a delicious ice cream.
It was a joyful day of exploration, creativity, and making memories that will last a long time!
