Commemorating International School Day of Non-Violence and Peace – January 2025

On Thursday 30th January 2025, our school commemorated International School Day of Non-Violence and Peace. The whole school sang ‘Love Shine a Light’ while holding hand-made candles. Ms Mary Grace Grech, the Music teacher, prepared the girls for the song. The School Council Committee members shared positive values with the other girls to promote peace. Dr Kenneth Vella, the Head of School, emphasised the importance of loving and respecting one another. This activity was linked to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which was commemorated on Monday 27th January, where Dr Vella reminded the girls to remember the victims of the Holocaust and pray for peace and justice around the world.
