School Calendar Third Term 2024-2025
This term, our Pre-Grade girls went “Wild About Learning”—and what an incredible adventure it’s been!
It all began with the inspiring story of Jane Goodall, which was read to the girls during Women’s Day. Fascinated by her work with chimpanzees, they decided to turn their classroom into a real-life jungle! And just like that, our project “Wild About Learning” came to life.
With their creativity and teamwork, the girls transformed the doors and corridors with beautiful jungle-themed crafts they made themselves. They explored different monkey species, learnt about the evolution of human beings, and discovered the amazing animals that live in the jungle.
One of the highlights was a special visit from a wonderful parent who brought in real animals to give the girls a hands-on experience. The excitement and curiosity in the room were unforgettable!
We also set up a cosy “Jungle Area” in the classroom, filled with jungle books, animal masks that the girls themselves created and dress-up costumes, where the girls could read, imagine, and role-play as jungle explorers.
To top it all off, they listened to real jungle sounds – helping them immerse themselves even more in this magical world of learning.
We are so proud of their enthusiasm, creativity, and curiosity. This jungle journey was one to remember!
