The Sport of Regatta – April 2025

On Wednesday 30th April, Raylene Cassar, of Senior 1, spoke about the sport of regatta. Thanks to her and her parents, she showed the shields which are presented to winners of the regatta held on Victory Day and Freedom Day. The shields are currently at Birgu Regatta Club since they won the races held on both days. Raylene forms part of the academy of Birgu Regatta Club and she spoke about the sport in detail. All the classes had the opportunity to see the shields after the assembly. Good luck to Raylene for more success in this sport.
