Children’s Day Celebrations – November 2024

Wednesday 20th November 2024 was a different day as our school celebrated Children’s Day. During the morning assembly the head of school, Dr Kenneth Vella, spoke about the meaning of this day and celebration. He also asked the children to keep in their prayers those children who cannot attend school because of wars in different countries. At the end of the assembly the senior 2 girls, under the guidance of Ms Mary Grace Grech also sang a song for the occasion, We Are The World. Then all the classes had an educational outing at San Klement Park in Żabbar. The class teachers organised various fun activities for the girls, like crafts, scavenger hunt and other educational games. The primary classes had a dance and zumba session while the senior classes had an OCR session. Both sessions were led by Ms Amy Lewis, the P.E. teacher. Mr Sean Briffa performed an interactive theatrical performance for the primary classes, while the senior classes had Shakeshorts Presents Merchant of Venice performance. Dr Kenneth Vella, the Headmaster, gave a doughnut to the girls as a treat for this special day. Thanks to all the staff members who worked hard for this successful school event.
