On Friday, 24th April the Grade 5 students enjoyed a truly enriching visit to Ta’ Mikiel Olive Grove
During the visit, the girls learned all about the cultivation of olives — from how olive trees are cared for, to the fascinating process of pressing olives to produce olive oil. The experience brought learning to life, allowing students to see firsthand how a natural product goes from tree to table.
The children were also given time to explore the beautiful surroundings, walking around the grove and appreciating the peaceful environment. One of the highlights of the day was tasting the freshly produced olive oil — a delicious and memorable experience for all!
A big thank you to the team at Ta’ Mikiel for their warm welcome and for sharing their knowledge with us. It was a day full of learning, exploration, and fun!
