On Wednesday 15th February 2023, our school welcomed representatives of ALS Malta+. Mr Bjorn Formosa, founder of ALS Malta, spoke to the Senior 2 girls about his condition and, also, about the organisation’s work with patients having ALS and the residents residing at Dar Bjorn. Mr Formosa encouraged the girls to face their challenges and never give up in life. Dr Kenneth Vella, Head of School, congratulated Mr Formosa and his team for their relentless work to raise awareness about ALS and to help people having this condition. At the end of the activity, Dr Vella presented a donation to ALS Malta+ which was collected during a casual day recently held at school. Thanks to Ms Alexia Brincau, Assistant Head, for coordinating this activity.
