On Monday 26th September 2022, some of the members of Malta ESG Alliance delivered a presentation to the senior classes about the initiative which this alliance promotes. Representatives from EY, HSBC, BOV and Medserv, together with Mr David Xuereb, spoke about the alliance whose aim is to promote sustainable development among the partner organisations as well as to create social awareness. This talk was held as part of the activities related to Malta Sustainability Week. The students participated actively in the discussion which was held towards the end of the presentation where they shared examples of their commitment towards the environment as well as expressed their concern about environmental issues. At the end of the activity, Jade Azzopardi, Emma Falzon, Sarah Sacco, Andrea Gauci, Nicole Spiteri, Marija Grazzja Caruana and Pearl Vassallo presented a copy of the annual school magazine to the guests.
The school thanks the guests for the interesting session. This activity was an extension to the work carried out by the school’s Eko Skola committee which works hard to promote sustainable development among the school community as well as in the wider community.
