On Monday 20th May 2019, Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph School Paola organised a Seppo Seminar at the Institute for Education, Pembroke. The seminar was organised in collaboration with Seppo Finland and with the support of the Institute for Education.
After the introductory speeches by Dr. Kenneth Vella Headmaster of Mater Boni Consilii St. Joseph Paola and Ms. Joanne Grima CEO Institute for Education, Mr. Riku Alkio CEO Seppo Finland on Gamification and Seppo led the presentation to the morning’s activities.
In the second part of the seminar there was a sharing of good practice from Ms. Stephanie Saliba, Ms. Julie Tabone Valetta teachers of St. Joseph School Paola followed by Mr. Matthew Naudi from Whiz Team Adventure – explaining a game to be played outside using Seppo.
All the participants then had the opportunity to play outside in groups and experience the Seppo Activity for themselves.
The Minster of Education and Employment Mr. Evarist Bartolo, also found the time to join the participants during the SEPPO seminar and the activity outside.
To conclude the seminar all participants were presented with a certificate of participation.
