Seppo activity with the Grade 2 – April 2019

During the past days the students were discussing buildings and other things they come across whilst walking in a street. They also learnt about road safety. So last Thursday 4th April we went out from the classroom to observe and see for ourselves.

First the girls had the opportunity to go out for a little walk around the school whilst observing different buildings and road signs. When we got back to school the students were engaged in a Seppo activity which consisted of a few questions about their observations.

They collaborated together and discussed each question within their own team. They became aware of the fact that buildings could be mainly houses, others could be shops and offices. They can now identify the names of the roads around the school and look out for signs that have the name of the road and other road signs that help pedestrians to be safe.
