On Thursday 15th June 2017 Foundress Day was celebrated in a very special way at Mater Boni Consilii School Paola with Holy Mass in the school yard. Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Dominic Mangani. Preparations for the mass were the responsibility of the Senior 2 students as this was also a farewell mass for the students who would be continuing with their studies at St. Joseph Blata l- Bajda. The Senior 2 students organized the mass under the guidance of Ms. Julie Tabone Valetta and were helped by Ms. Carmen Esposito and Ms. Martina Fenech. The parents of Senior 2 students were also invited for this special occasion.
At the end of mass, Dr. Kenneth Vella Headmaster presented a school certificate to all the Senior 2 students. The students were also presented with a number of tokens prepared by Dr. Vella, Fr. Mangani and other members of staff.
After mass the parents and students of Senior 2 presented the school with the statue of St. Joseph.
Throughout the week during morning and break assemblies, a number of students prepared a number of presentations ranging from songs to dances leading up to the school choir’s presentation on Thursday the 15th June 2017 during break. The school administration also treated all students and staff to an ice-cream.
