On Friday 14th June 2019 Foundress Day was celebrated in a very special way at Mater Boni Consilii School Paola with Holy Mass in the school yard. Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Dominic Mangani. Preparations for the mass were the responsibility of the Senior 2 students as this was also a farewell mass for the students who would be continuing with their studies at St. Joseph Blata l- Bajda. The Senior 2 students organized the mass under the guidance of Ms. Julie Tabone Valetta and were helped by Ms. Mary Grace Grech music teacher and Ms. Lycia Bezzina, the religion teacher. The parents of Senior 2 students were also invited for this special occasion.
At the end of mass, Dr. Kenneth Vella, headmaster presented a certificate to all the Senior 2 students. The students were also presented with several tokens prepared by Dr. Vella, Fr. Mangani and other members of staff. Present also were the Sisters of the Paola Community. Sr Eugene Ghirlando also addressed the parents and students and presented certificates to a number of members of staff. Dr Vella would like to thank those parents of Form 2 girls who found the time to come and join us for mass. He also thanked all the parents for their support personally towards him as head and also towards the school during the past years.
