On Thursday 26th May 2022, a Canadian sailor, Ms. Ellen Juhasz, from the Royal Yachting Sailing School, gave a presentation on sailing to promote this sport amongst girls. She explained how sailing is one of the few sports where students can acquire skills to work both as a group or team on land and, at the same time, as an individual (while sailing). Sailing gives students independence and confidence. During the session, the girls watched a video of the girls attending the sailing school, who shared their experience and explained how much fun they have during the lessons. Thanks to Ms. Katia Camilleri, an educator at our school, for making the necessary contacts to hold this session with our classes.
