Robotics sessions in the main yard – March 2019

Although Friday 15th March was a rainy and windy day, our girls in grades 5 and 6 still managed to continue with their robotics sessions in the main yard. They were really enthusiastic moving around their small robots under the guidance of Ms Abby Camilleri Pearson, on behalf of robocoach. In collaboration with robocoach, robotics and STEM sessions are being offered by the school not only during the school day but also as after school sessions. These sessions are being organised thanks to the agreement signed last Summer between the school and Robocoach. In the past months, the school invested heavily in resources related to robotics.
Once again Dr Kenneth Vella, headmaster, thanked robocoach for its support and confirmed that both parties intend to extend their collaboration even during the coming scholastic year as both believe that this is the way forward even in our system of education. Robocoach is also planning to organise sessions during Summer at our school during different days and times. For more information you can send an email on materbon@gmail.com
